Cinema 4D | Look Dev and partial animation
For the 70th GEMA Awards, a complete visual identity was created inspired by geodes, ordinary rocks concealing extraordinary crystal formations, using this as a metaphor for creative ideas building pressure beneath the surface until they crystallize into something exceptional. I was responsible for the look development and animation, bringing raw materials to life as intricate crystal structures with vibrant layers echoing RGB separation, print registration, and stacked video frames, ultimately forming the iconic GEMA statuette itself. The system premiered on June 3rd at Amsterdam's NXT Museum, spanning opening films, title sequences, stage visuals, and category screens, and is built as a flexible foundation to travel with the awards to future international destinations including Los Angeles.
