Born from my memories of Mount Kōya in Japan, this project visualizes a sunset bamboo forest, blending personal nostalgia with the immersion of a almost magic environment. A path flanked by stone lanterns leads to a tunnel of Torii gates, where philosophical engravings invite introspection. I modeled and textured the architectural assets to blend seamlessly with Megascans (Stone/metal lanterns and stone pavement), using an optimized instance hierarchy and animating the bamboos leaves to give more life to the scene. The experience is completed by custom selection of Japanese drums, wind and rising Hyoshigi.
